To gain a foothold in the market, product safety certification is indispensable. So, in the switching power supply, what safety regulations need to be paid attention to?
First: Safe Distance Specifications
The following are related to the safety regulations, only for the primary, secondary and high voltage, high current area PCB layout.
AC input L-N, N-GND, L-GND spacing must be greater than 3.5 mm; primary rectifier filter capacitor positive; negative stage spacing must be greater than 4 mm; When the circuit voltage is less than 48V, the safety spacing is generally not required.
It should be noted here that the electrical clearance and creepage distance should meet the relevant requirements.
Second: Withstand voltage test specification
Test content and standards
Input-output withstand voltage test and standard
AC 3000V, withstand voltage for 1 minute, and set the leakage current to 10mA. The pressure tester indicates that the leakage current is less than 10mA, and no arcing phenomenon is qualified.
Input – earth withstand voltage test
AC 1500V, withstand voltage for 1 minute, the leakage current is set to 10mA; the withstand voltage meter indicates that the leakage current is less than 10mA, and there is no arcing phenomenon is qualified.
Output – earth withstand voltage test
DC 500V, withstand voltage for 1 minute, leakage current is set to 10mA, the leakage current indicated by the withstand voltage meter is less than 10mA, and no arcing phenomenon is qualified.
Note: The earth is the shell ground. The test instrument is a withstand voltage tester.
