USB PD is a fast charging standard,
USB Type-C is just an interface form,
USB3.1 is a transmission standard,
Even if it is USBPD fast charging, if you want to fast charge with a voltage and current exceeding 5V or 1.5A, it must be the USB Type-C interface of USB 3.1. Nowadays, there are not many Type-C USB interfaces in mobile phones, even A large part of the mobile phones that use the Type-C interface are actually USB2.0 interfaces (the interface form and the interface specification are not bundled, not to say that the latest Type-C interface must be the latest 3.1 specification)
The interface form of USB can be divided into
1) USBType-A,
2) USBType-B,
3) USBType-C,
4) USBMini-A(B),
5) USB Micro-A (B).
In order to standardize the fast charging standard, USB-IF (USB Standardization Organization) has released an important update of USB PD 3.0, aiming to unify the PPS (Programmable Power Supply) of fast charging technical specifications, in order to achieve Qualcomm QC4.0/3.0, MediaTek PE3. 0/2.0, Huawei/OPPO and other programs are incorporated, and the USB interface does not allow voltage adjustment through non-USB PD protocols. If manufacturers write their respective fast charging protocols into the PPS specifications, then mobile phones that support fast charging in the future can theoretically use fast charging heads (PPS specifications) of other mobile phone brands to achieve fast charging.
